At LingoCompare, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our translation QA platform and website.
1. Information We Collect
When you use LingoCompare, we may collect:
- Account Data: Name, work email, company, role, and billing information (processed securely via Stripe) when you register for a paid plan.
- Project Data: Translation strings, glossaries, and QA metadata you upload for review. This content is stored to provide the service and can be deleted upon request.
- Usage Telemetry: Anonymous data regarding platform performance and error logs to help us improve stability.
2. How We Use Project Data
LingoCompare does not machine-translate your content. Uploaded strings are used solely to provide side-by-side QA review, terminology checks, and report generation within your workspace.
We do not sell your project data. We do not use your translation content to train AI models. Enterprise customers may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) — contact privacy@lingocompare.com.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
You may delete individual projects or your entire workspace at any time. Upon account deletion, project data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for billing dispute resolution.
